Julius Becken of Becken Agrar shows us around his families large scale farm and contracting business located in the Cuxhaven area of Northern Germany. What started off as one stall with 70 dairy cows in the 1970’s has grown into the biggest agricultural farming and contracting business in the region, milking 900 cows and running 4 Krone Big X 1180 Forage Harvesters! IT DOESN’T STOP THERE!… Julius shows us the businesses biggest undertaking yet, a 10.5 MILLION EURO, state of the art dairy unit which when completed will house 1200 cows. Eide Bosch of Krone Germany talks us through the vast array of Krone machinery operating in the Becken fleet most notably the fleet of Big X 1180 forage harvesters, complemented by a 15+ strong fleet of Krone TX trailers.
