In this episode, we head to Hunniford Farms, one of Northern Ireland’s largest farming and contracting businesses. From ploughing and a Claas Axion 960TT running a 6-metre one-pass drill, to a complete maize harvesting outfit. This episode has it all, including a one-of-a-kind silage truck which has it all to prove heading into its first maize season… Will it stand up to the tough Northern Irish maize conditions?
We chat with Victor and Richard Hunniford, the two brothers behind the business, to discuss what the last year has thrown at them and how they see Hunniford Farms evolving into 2026 and the following years.
We also catch up with Tim Black, who gives us an insight into his role within the operation and shares his honest thoughts on switching to a Claas chopper after spending many years behind the wheel of John Deere machines.

Episode 1: Becken Agrar Northern Germany’s BIGGEST farming and contracting business!

Julius Becken of Becken Agrar shows us around his family’s large scale farm and contracting business located in the Cuxhaven area of Northern Germany. What started off as one stall with 70 dairy cows in the 1970’s has grown into the biggest farming and agricultural contracting business in the region, milking 900 cows and running 4 Krone Big X 1180 Forage Harvesters! IT DOESN’T STOP THERE!… Julius shows us the businesses biggest undertaking yet, a 10.5 MILLION EURO, state of the art dairy unit which when completed will house 1200 cows. Eide Bosch of Krone Germany talks us through the vast array of Krone machinery operating in the Becken fleet most notably the fleet of Big X 1180 forage harvesters, complemented by a 15+ strong fleet of Krone TX trailers. Eide also talks about some of the machines being released by Krone at Agritechnica 2025.
Last but by no means least We talk to a tractor pulling tiler, who devotes his spare time to the things he loves, Tractor pulling, Chopping Grass and Spreading Poops!
